Scope and Contents
Contains mostly correspondence between Catherine, sometimes "Kitty", and her brother Robert. Catherine's letters to her brother, Charles Woodard Atwater, Jr. are in Series VIII. There is some correspondence in this series relating to their brother's care and condition, settling their mother's estate, the challenges of growing children and later challenges of caring for a disabled spouse. The series also includes Catherine's articles, correspondence, and research notes on her family history of William Warren Atwater and Wilbur Olin Atwater.
