Scope and Contents This book was designed, illustrated and printed in the fall of 1990 by Genevieve Emmy Schmidt- Camacho in the Wesleyan University Print Shop. Th text, set in 18 and 24 point Caslon, was printed on a Vandercook 15-21 press. The illustrations are soft-ground etchings which owe their existence to the help of Midge and Dana Spottswood. Queen Alice is Chapter Nine of Through the Looking Glass and What Alice Found There by Lewis Carroll, 1872. This edition was created in the Fall of 1995 by Damian Hess for David Schorr's Typography course at Wesleyan University in Middletown, CT. The illustrations are by Sir John Tenniel, from the 1872 printing, and have been modified. Punctuation conforms to the original manuscript, as according to More Annnotated Aliceby Marvin Gardner, 1990. Copy #_ of eight.
