"Celebrating the opening of the Panama Canal the International Jury of Awards has conferred a Grand Prize upon Henry Bacon, New York City, for the Design of the Lincoln Memorial, now under construction in the City of Washington. 1915." Signatures: T.J. Kiff (?); Asher C. Baker; Theodore Hardee; Chas. C. Moore; Rudolph Haussig (?); R.H. Fernbach (?). At bottom: "Engraved and printed at the U.S. Bureau of Printing and Engraving."
