Scope and Contents
The album covers the years 1949‐1952 and primarily includes photos of Wesleyan classmates and buildings. With the album were some printed materials on Russell House and Eclectic. Also, photographs of Peterson in Army uniform, dated 1953; and New York Times article on Wesleyan from 1994.

Biographical / Historical
David Warner Peterson, Wesleyan class of 1951, was born in 1930. He served in the army after leaving Wesleyan from 1952-1954. In 1959 he married Jeanette O. Nitrauer and had three children. Peterson would serve as assistant director of admissions at Wesleyan from 1954 to 1956.
