Biographical / Historical

The Eclectic Society of Phi Nu Theta was founded in 1838, making it one of the oldest fraternal college organizations. Originally created as the Eclectic society, as other Greek-letter societies came to Wesleyan they adopted a Greek motto known as Phi Nu Theta.
