Biographical / Historical
George Matthew Dutcher (1874-1959) was a professor of Histoy at Wesleyan in the early 1900s. During his career, Dutcher wrote "The Political Awakening of the East: studies of political progress in Egypt, India, China, Japan and the Philippines" (1925).
