Over the years, Mr. Hartzell has donated a small amount of material, mostly writings, which was put in his vertical file. Due to lack of space, some of this material has now been removed from the vertical file and placed with this collection. Biographical / Historical
Karl D. Hartzell was born in 1906 and graduated from Wesleyan in 1927. In 1935 he married Ann Lomas and they had three boys, two of whom attended Wesleyan.
