Scope and Contents
This collection includes caricatures given to Katherine and Victor, various correspondence and news clippings, a typescript of Edgar H. Knapp's "An Academic Life" as well as a sound disk from Henry Merritt Wriston's address at Brown. Also included is a typescript correct by Katherine of "Entertaining at a College President's House."

Biographical / Historical
Victor L. Butterfield, Wesleyan's eleventh president from 1943-1967, married Katherine Geyer on June 11, 1928. They had two children, Margot and Daniel.
