Stephen B. Porter collection of Wesleyan student music
Scope and Contents
The Stephen B. Porter collection of Wesleyan student music consists of recordings made by Stephen B. Porter '87 of student music performed at various locations on the Wesleyan University campus, 1983-1987. The recordings are on audiocassettes. Some of the tapes were recorded with the assistance of Dana E Walcott, '86, who provided assistance with documention of the collection. This collection is dedicated to Andrew Stollman, Class of 1987, "in honor of the gifts he gave to all of us."
All recordings were made with the consent and cooperation of the performers.
Audience masters were recorded in stereo with a pair of Sennheiser ME-80 shotgun microphones and a Sony D5 portable tape deck.
