Scope and Contents
Collection containing photographs of reunions of the class of 1935. Photos include posed group photographs taken by official Wesleyan photographers (and may include other posed non-1935 reunion classes) as well as a group of informal photos taken by members of the class of 1935 at various reunions. Also included are notes, annotated programs, and correspondence concerning the planning of reunion activities and attendees for the class collected by John Howland ’35 during his time as class agent and reunion coordinator.

Biographical / Historical
The University president in 1935 was James L. McConaughy, B.A., M.A., Ph.D., LL.D. At the time the campus relied on the fraternities for dining services and the Cardinal was the newly adopted nickname for the athletic teams.
