Biographical / Historical
Edith Jefferson Andrus Davenport graduated from Wesleyan in 1897, during the first period of time women were admitted to the university.
The building was originally built in 1903 and named the John Bell Scott Memorial Laboratory. It was used by the science department until 1971. In 1984, through an endowment by John E. Andrus, the building was dedicated and renmaed as the Davenport Campus Center. The building has since gone under another renovation in 2007 and renamed for Robert Allbritton class of 1992.
