Scope and Contents
The Faculty Consultative Finance Committee records contain materials regarding the research the Faculty Consultative Finance Committee has done and proposals it has made to the president and board of trustees of Wesleyan University, including recommendations regarding faculty salaries based on costs of living, and paid vacation time, as well as communications between President Butterfield, the board of trustees, the Consultative Finance Committee and the faculty. This collection consists of minutes, correspondence, faculty questionnaire, completed anonymous faculty questionnaires, data on the cost of living from anonymous faculty questionnaires, preliminary reports of the Finance Committee and drafts of reports, memoranda, The Consultative Finance Committee’s proposal to University President Butterfield and Board of Trustees of Wesleyan University.
