Biographical / Historical
Russell House is a historic house at 350 High St. Built in 1828, it was given to Wesleyan in 1937. It was known as Honors College until 1996. Today the building is used for events and is home to the Philosophy department.
The Greek revival mansion was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1970 and declared a National Historic Landmark in 2001.
