Biographical / Historical
William [Billy] H. Weitzer, Ph.D. came to Wesleyan in 1991 as an Assistant Provost. In 1994, he was promoted to Associate Provost, serving in that position along with being the registrar until 2001. In 2001, Weitzer was promoted to Senior Associate Provost and Dean of Continuing Studies. In late 2006, Weitzer accepted a position at Fairfield Univerisity becoming their Senior Vice President.
While at Wesleyan, Weitzer also served an an adjunct instructor in the Department of Psychology.
