Contents include comparative data on American colleges and universities collected and released to contributing members; summary data from the annual senior survey of Wesleyan and other contributing colleges and universities; frosh surveys; individual project files for research and statistical data collected by the director for Wesleyan administration projects, offices, and grant proposals; and examples of survey forms and several collections of completed survey forms. N.B.: it is likely that some printed records in this collection are also present in electronic form.

2005-057: Received in June and July 2005, from Michael Whitcomb, the Assistant Director of Institutional Research. This accession, along with accession 2001-1, are the records of John Pothier. Pothier was Director of Institutional Research from 1991-2000.

2002-041: This collection is an addition and continuation to collection 2001-1. It comprises interfiled subject files and individual research projects and surveys, primarily from the directorship of Michael S. Connolly, all of which generally precede the date range of the previous accesion. Contents include the senior survey, housing studies, enrollment, majors, faculty compensation data, and COFHE (Consortium on the Fonancing of Higher Education) documents.

Boxes 1-3 are well labelled. Boxes 4-6 contain loose documents, data sets, and documentation supplied by outside peer institutions, the last of which may be candidates for deaccession upon final processing.
