Scope and Contents
A time capsule and it's contents that were buried in 1954 and unearthed during construction in 2021. Contents include copies of the majority of publications available at Wesleyan during that time including some issues of the Argus, admissions booklet, materials related to development and fundraising, course catalogs, newsletters, etc.

Biographical / Historical
Time capsule was buried in 1954 during the construction of the Public Affairs Center. During initial construction of the updated Public Affairs Center in 2021, the time capsule was dug up by an excavator and brought to the university archives.
