Vietnam War, 1961-1975

Papers created or collected by Herb Arnold. The first folder has materials related to Wesleyan history in the late 1960s (anti-Vietnam activities and documents). The other three folders contain information on the College of Letters for classes in 1966 and 1967, and various other documents.

This collection consists of oral history interviews with members of the Wesleyan University community, including faculty emeriti, administration officials, and others. They are sponsored by the Wesleyan University Wasch Center for Retired Faculty and are added to on an ongoing basis.

The collection contains correspondence, memos, clippings, and other materials related to the controversy on military recruitment at Wesleyan University from 1968 to 1973. Major correspondents are Philip Rockwell and Paul Reynolds.
