The collection contains the revised typescript of Kay Boyle's project on German history, which Boyle worked on during her time as a fellow at Wesleyan University in the years 1962-1963.

The collection includes records amassed and created by Pulitzer Prize winning author, Paul Horgan, spanning between the years of 1956 and 1995.

The Center for Advanced Studies records include general files, annual reports, publicity, photographs, a scrapbook, lists of fellows and those under consideration as fellows, and recordings. Throughout the collection, documentation from 1967 to 1969 is somewhat sparse.
