Henry Brant papers
Henry Dreyfuss Brant (1913-2008) was a composer who was noteworthy for acoustic special music where he placed performers outside the proscenium in the concert hall. He was awarded the Pulitzer Prize in Music in 2002 for his composition Ice Field. Brant was awarded an honorary degree from Wesleyan in 1998. The rough inventory list for this unprocessed collection does not identify parts or pieces; it does not distinguish originals, photocopies, or publications.
